William Aldridge, DOB 7/29/79, and Brandon Bayne, DOB 11/4/88, were taken into custody following a search warrant at a Toxaway Drive home on Wednesday.
On September 10, 2025, Knoxville Police Department officers with the assistance of TBI, ATF and the 5th Judicial Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a home in the 7300 block of Toxaway Drive. The search warrant was obtained as part of an ongoing investigation being led by the KPD Organized Crime Unit and Drug Related Death Task Force into two different overdose deaths and the distribution of fentanyl in West Knoxville.
The search warrant resulted in the discovery of nearly 65 grams of suspected fentanyl, over 35 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, two handguns, including one that was reported stolen in Knoxville in 2022, and over $2,200 in cash.
Both Aldridge and Bayne were taken into custody during the search warrant on charges that include maintaining a dwelling for drug purposes, schedule I drugs, convicted felon in possession of a weapon, tampering with evidence and felony theft.
The overdose death and drug distribution investigation remains ongoing.
